Women’s Issues has received tremendous attention in the planning cycle and within a broad intellectual discussions and forums on national and global platform. But the void that exists in the formulation and implementation of policies have not changed the situation for most of the grass roots. In front of encouraging, in the countries of South Asia there has been relatively increasing economic participation in the decade called south asian fraternity. Statistical literacy rate among women is also increasing. Education and employment patterns have also changed and widened with a woman enters the domain, which is considered again until the decade was dominated by men. Furthermore, there has driven up the percentage of women joining the service sector especially Banking and Information Technology. In the background a giant transformation, the core problem, which is still unanswered, is that the rights of women and empowerment.
